| A: | FreeMyApps uses iTunes store gift codes which fall under the following official Apple App Store restrictions: "Code is redeemable only on the App Store for the United States. | Q: | I've installed the profile & downloaded the sponsor app, but the website tells me I need to enroll again. What's going on? | |
| A: | Please make sure your cookies are enabled. Go to Settings > Safari > Accept Cookies (from visited)

| Q: | What are you doing with the "FreeMyApps Settings" page? | |
| A: | This page uses Apple's system to ensure the process is simple and safe. We require your phone's device ID so we can then recognize this same device code when you open one of our sponsors' apps for the first time. That way we can give you a paid app for free! | |
| Q: | Do you change the settings on my phone - it says you will? | |
| A: | We do not make any changes to your phone's settings, despite the scary warning [see below]. The Install Profile is an Apple tool that is generally used for another purpose, where company administrators are changing over a large number of phones all at once. We are stuck with the warning since we need to use the tool, but again we do not change any settings.

| A: | We use it to confirm that you downloaded and tried our sponsor apps. We do not share this information with any third parties. | |
| Q: | How do I remove my profile? | |
| A: | The device profile gets removed automatically after the enrollment process. To completely disassociate it from FreeMyApps, go to Settings > Safari > Delete Cookies | |
| Q: | How often do you add new promotional apps? | |
| A: | We will be adding exciting new apps frequently. | |
| Q: | When will you add more paid apps? | |
| A: | We add new paid apps several times a week. Come back often and follow us on facebook and twitter where we will announce new apps. | |
| Q: | I downloaded one of your sponsor's apps but am not getting my free app credit, can you help? | |
| A: | We are sorry you had difficulty. There could be a couple potential causes for this. 1) You didn't run the app for long enough after downloading - get in there and check it out, these apps are cool (and technically you must run them at least 30 seconds). 2) You have previously downloaded the app. Even if it's no longer on your device the app leaves a record and our sponsors will only count first time downloads so that deleting apps isn't rewarded. | |
| Q: | I picked my paid app, and iTunes said the gift code has already been redeemed! | |
| A: | This message shows up when the app is already downloading to your device. Give it a second and then look on your phone, the app icon should show up! | |
| Q: | Is there a limit to the number of apps I can get? | |
| A: | No. You can complete as many promotions as you want and get all of our paid apps for free! | |
| Q: | I upgraded my iOS device, and now I can't get credits. What should I do? | |
| A: | First of all, congratulations on your new device! Clear your cookies by going to Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data and then come on back. | |
| Q: | I opened the link from Facebook / Twitter and am seeing an iOS error message. What's going on? | |
| A: | Our mobile site works only in Safari. To open this link in Safari, touch the button in the top-right hand corner and select the option "Open in Safari".

| Q: | I referred a friend, but still don't see any credits. What happened to my credits? | |
| A: | We give credits only when your referred friend is a new user of FreeMyApps, and when he downloads and launches a sponsor app with your custom link. So check if your friend has downloaded and launched an app. | |
| Q: | What do you mean my credits are expiring!? | |
| A: | Don't worry! As long as you download at least 1 sponsor app, 1 gift app, or have 1 social share every 60 days, your credits will stay as good as new. This is only for the folks who aren't as good at freeing apps as you are! | |
| Q: | I downloaded a sponsor app and ran it for more than 30 seconds but have not received any credits. What gives? | |
| A: | We are sorry you are having difficulty. There could be a couple potential causes for this: 1) You have previously downloaded the app. Even if it's no longer on your device, the app leaves a record and our sponsors will only count first time downloads so that deleting apps isn't rewarded. 2) You have not clicked on the app in the catalog before downloading it. 3) You are not downloading the apps through the US app store. Please remember that you must be in the US iTunes Store to earn and redeem credits. 4) There is a delay in reporting. Sadly, this happens from time to time and we apologize for the inconvenience. We work hard to make sure everyone receives their credits as quickly as possible and we appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the app freeing experience. | |
| Q: | I redeemed a gift app and got the message: "Safari can not open the page because the address is invalid". What do I do? | |
| A: | We're working hard on figuring out what is causing this message. In the meantime, here's how to get around this problem: 1) Go to the gift apps page, scroll down to the bottom under "Already Redeemed" and hold your finger on the banner of the app you were trying to download. 2) A link should pop up with a code at the end of it, copy this code. 3) Then go to the app store, click on the featured section, scroll to the bottom and click on "Redeem". Paste the code in and the app will be freed. Hurray!
